Quality Inspector

Role

To ensure that all products manufactured meet the expected standards of all Customers

To be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can work as an integral part of our multi-skilled workforce.

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
    Which would include but not be limited to the following:
  • A basic knowledge of 5s, MSA, PFMEA, SPC, etc. would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • The successful applicant will be ideally conversant with both traditional and advanced Inspection/ Quality techniques and tools.
  • Experience in Manual and CMM Techniques.
  • Experience of CMM Operation/ Inspection Methodology.
  • Visual Inspection experience.
  • Good inwards Inspection- dimensional and Processes.
  • Review of material certificate of conformity.
  • Support of the Non-Conformance process linked to suppliers.
  • Goods inwards inspection experience.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with suppliers and customers.
Shift working may be required.

Role

Create and maintain MPS in Efacs developing a smooth production profile and manufacturing strategy against resource capacity; supporting sales requirements and internal targets.

Responsible for scheduling production launch and purchasing demand signals.

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
  • Experience in master scheduling, demand planning or a supply planning role.
  • Demonstrate excellent MRP/ERP/CRP knowledge.
  • Experience creating production forecasts preferably in a precision engineering company.
  • Demonstrate excellent numeracy and excel skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of load and capacity tools.

Role

You will be responsible for machining sensitive aerospace components in line with the Master Production Schedule. The candidate must have experience in aerospace machining and be able to work alone or as part of a team.

  • Experience in machining sensitive or critical aerospace components
  • Experience in operating and setting CNC Milling machines. DMG & Mazak preferred.
  • Experience in self inspection and recording results of produced components.
  • Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to used multiple control systems.
Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of tooling.
  • Ability to work part of a team or individually.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of how to follow SWI & procedures.

  • IOSH managing safety qualification or equivalent.
  • A knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles.

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage people.
  • Experience managing a complex order book.
Essential Requirements:
  • Able to demonstrate previous involvement within continuous improvement activities.
  • Computer literacy with experience of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Able to communicate at all levels within the business.
  • Understanding of OEE and production process flows.
