Manufacturing Engineer
Role
CW Fletcher are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for Engineering Projects through a structured, gated process. In addition, they will engage internal and external resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, cost and quality and in line with project requirements/objectives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience, knowledge, Education and Work Achievements:
- Holds a Degree, HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (preferably Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering) or equivalent experience in a similar / relevant role (Essential)
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role within the Aerospace or an equivalent highly regulated sector (Essential)
- Able to demonstrate an excellent record of successful project planning and execution (Essential)
- High level of analytical skills, and problem-solving ability (Essential)
- Experience / knowledge of key manufacturing processes including but not limited to; CNC Milling / Turning, Conventional Machining, Fusion Welding, Fabrication and Assembly using a range of materials including exotics (Essential)
Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and with customers and suppliers (Essential)
- Excellent organisational /planning skills with the ability to multitask, including strong verbal and written communication skills (Essential)

- Interpretation of drawings, GD&T, technical specifications and product control documentation (Essential)

CNC Turner
Role
CW Fletcher are looking for a CNC Turner to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for machining sensitive aerospace components in line with the Master Production Schedule.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work to close tolerance, small batch work, predominantly fixture based in a wide range of aerospace materials such as Jethete,
- Titanium and Nickel based alloys.
- Ability to learn multiple machines within the business.
- Ability to operate multiple machines where applicable.
- Understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of various controls such as Fanuc & Heidenhein.
- Use overhead crane for fixture transportation.
- Understand and be able to follow Batch Card and Standard Working Instructions.
- Cover holidays and capacity issue with overtime when required.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in machining sensitive or critical aerospace components.
- Experience in operating and setting CNC Turning machines.
- Experience in self inspection and recording results of produced components.
- Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.
- Demonstrate the ability to used multiple control systems.
Essential Requirements:

Role
You will be responsible for machining sensitive aerospace components in line with the Master Production Schedule. The candidate must have experience in aerospace machining and be able to work alone or as part of a team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work to close tolerance, small batch work, predominantly fixture based in a wide range of aerospace materials such as Jethete, Titanium and Nickel based alloys.
- Ability to learn multiple machines within the business.
- Ability to operate multiple machines where applicable.
- Understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of various controls such as Heidenhein.
- Use overhead crane for fixture transportation.
- Understand and be able to follow Batch Card and Standard Working Instructions.
- Have a good level of Computer Literacy.
- Cover holidays and capacity issue with overtime when required.
Skills, Experience & Qualification:
- Experience in machining sensitive or critical aerospace components
- Experience in operating and setting CNC Milling machines. DMG & Mazak preferred.
- Experience in self inspection and recording results of produced components.
- Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.

Manual Machinist
Role
CW Fletcher are looking for a CNC Manual Machinist to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for machining sensitive aerospace components in line with the Master Production Schedule.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manual turn work to tight tolerance +/-0.05mm across up to 1m diameter, small batch work, predominantly fixture based in a wide range of aerospace materials such as Jethete, Titanium and Nickel based alloys.
- Ability to learn multiple machines within the business - turning, vertical milling, radial arm + pillar drills and honing machines.
- Setting and operating 4 jaw chuck.
- Understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Use overhead crane for fixture transportation – Training will be given.
- Understand and be able to follow Batch Card and Standard Working Instructions.
- Cover holidays and capacity issue with overtime when required.
- Work alongside engineering team on new products and improvements.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in machining sensitive or critical aerospace components.
- Experience in self inspection and recording results of produced components, using vernier callipers, internal and external micrometres etc.
- Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.
- Demonstrate the ability to use multiple control systems.

- Understanding of how to follow SWI & procedures.
