CNC Turner (Temporary)

Role

You will be responsible for machining sensitive aerospace components in line with the Master Production Schedule. The candidate must have experience in aerospace machining and be able to work alone or as part of a team.

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
  • Experience in machining sensitive or critical aerospace components
  • Experience in operating and setting CNC Turning machines- Doosan in particular.
  • Experience in self inspection and recording results of produced components.
  • Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use multiple control systems.
Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of tooling and hand measurement using micrometers, Vernier's etc.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of how to follow SWI & procedures.
  • Have a questioning attitude to improvements and 5’s

Quality Inspector

Role

To ensure that all products manufactured meet the expected standards of all Customers

To be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can work as an integral part of our multi-skilled workforce.

Skills, Experience & Qualification:

Which would include but not be limited to the following:

  • A basic knowledge of 5s, MSA, PFMEA, SPC, etc. would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • The successful applicant will be ideally conversant with both traditional and advanced Inspection/ Quality techniques and tools.
  • Experience in Manual and CMM Techniques.
  • Experience of CMM Operation/ Inspection Methodology.
  • Visual Inspection experience.
  • Good inwards Inspection- dimensional and processes.
  • Review of material certificate of conformity.
  • Support of the Non-Conformance process linked to suppliers.
  • Goods inwards inspection experience.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with suppliers and customers.

Shift working may be required.

Production Planning Assistant

Role

This position will support the production planner in all daily processes, plans and targets. Monitoring and progressing works orders in all areas of the facility to meet daily resource requirements.

NPI Champion and Project Co-ordinator

Role

The holder of the position will be part of the busy engineering department. Working with various departments and customers they will be responsible for producing and maintaining all New Product Introduction Plans. They will also be responsible for organising and scheduling the workload of the engineering department and maintaining department load and capacity plans. The main purpose of the role is to coordinate activities to ensure projects and activities progress to agreed time scales.

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
  • Attitude, motivation, an organised approach and a willingness to learn will be very important attributes of the successful candidate and may be viewed as more important than some of the following requirements.
  • Be self-motivated and have good project management skills.
  • Experience of coordinating multi-functional teams.
  • Experience of organising and running team meetings.
  • Have good organisational and planning skills.
  • Have an analytical, data driven approach to problem solving and improvement activities.
  • Be comfortable liaising with customers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrate a good level of numeracy/literacy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • A knowledge of basic machining, forming and fabrication processes would be an advantage but is not essential.
Essential Requirements:

Temporary Sales Co-ordinator

Role

Update and load sales orders maintaining delivery schedules. Respond to all customer delivery status requests ensuring information is supported from all areas of the business. Progress and track customer parts from pre-production to completion ensuring targets are achieved.

Co-ordinate recoveries by progress chasing all areas of the business.

Prepare WIP trackers/status updates and attend weekly customer link calls ensuring commitments are accurate and agreed.

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
  • Relevant experience in a sales planning role.
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
Essential Requirements:
  • Able to communicate at all levels within the business.
  • Demonstrate the ability to present a professional and informed impression.
