QUALITY INSPECTOR

Role

C.W. Fletcher & Sons Ltd are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who can work as an integral part of our multi-skilled workforce.

The Quality Inspector is required to enhance the Inspection Quality Team.

The successful applicant will ideally be conversant with both traditional and advanced Inspection/Quality Techniques and Tools.

Training will be provided as appropriate.

The position may require shift working at times.

Salary: £12.30 - £13.12 per hour

CNC Miller

Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC miller to join CW Fletcher. You will be responsible for machining sensitive aerospace components in line with the Master Production Schedule. The candidate must have experience in aerospace machining and be able to work alone or as part of a team.

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
  • Experience in machining sensitive or critical aerospace components
  • Experience in operating and setting CNC Milling machines. DMG & Mazak preferred.
  • Experience in self inspection and recording results of produced components.
  • Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use multiple control systems.
Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of tooling.
  • Ability to work part of a team or individually.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of how to follow SWI & procedures.
  • Have a questioning attitude to improvements and 5’s

Driver (Fixed Term Contract 6 months)

Role

We are looking for a time efficient and reliable driver to support the Logistics Department with daily deliveries and collections on a fixed term contract (6 months). 

Skills, Experience & Qualification:
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience of driving a range of vehicles in a work place environment.
  • Previous experience of delivering goods.
  • Ability to work well as an individual and in a team environment.
  • Have strong customer service skills.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Ability to handle fragile packages and parcels with care.
  • Be able to meet our timescales on deliveries and collections whilst ensuring driving in a safe manner.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Highway Code.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Confident and calm under pressure.
  • Flexible, co-operative and enthusiastic attitude to work.
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
  • Be conscientious and reliable.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Hold a Fork Lift Truck Licence (Counterbalance & Reach).
  • Efficient IT Skills, including Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
